Pond pumps

There are so many different pond pumps that you may need to help of an online sales representative or pet shop salesman to get you started. You need to consider how much water you need to have pumped in terms of gallons per hour. Also, if you run a waterfall from the same source you'll need a larger pump.

There are two types of pond pumps. A submerged pump is more aesthetically pleasing to some because it is located beneath the surface. Thus, when you are showing your pond off to your friends they will not notice the pumps' action.

Those looking at pond pumps that are a little easier to maintain may want a surface pump. You can maintain a surface comp without ever getting your hands wet. Another advantage: surface pumps tend to be less expensive but are just as powerful as submerged bombs.
