Pond liners

Pond liners need to be sized to your space. To calculate length simply add the length of the pond plus depth plus depth again and then add 2 feet. To calculate with simply add width of the pond plus depth plus depth again plus 2 feet.

When building pond liners the extra 2 feet that you add on to each calculation will be buried by the stones you line around the edge. Also, note that before the liner is inserted you should spread a 2 inch layer of sand to protect the liner from anything sharp in the ground.

Pond liners go over the empty area that has been excavated in layered with sand. Once you have done this, fill the liner with water. Once the pond has been filled, you can trim the excess liner that you will not need.
